~My Heart is Steadfast~

"In prayerful moments, subtle peace comes
When I choose to drop my fearful baggage into Greater Arms."
Charlotte Adelsperger

Blessings Blog Angels~once again I am coming to you for prayer. My mom is very ill with pneumonia. I have been awake most of the night in prayer for the healing hands of Jesus to caress her lungs. She will see a specialist today.

For all of my 54 years, my mom has been my champion, my spiritual guide, my friend...she has been the music in my life. She is my heart. Please pray for her today, and remember her in your thoughts and prayers throughout the week. Thank you so very, very much. Sharon

  1. I will be praying for your Mom that she will be better soon. May the dear Lord send her healing and guide the hands of the doctors caring for her. I know what a concern it must be for you. It is not ever easy seeing those that we love ill.

  3. I'm on it, Sharon.

Pneumonia can be so difficult for the elderly, especially in this crazy cold. I will get down on my knees immediately and send up prayers of healing, comfort, and protection for your sweet mother and for you.

    Much love from Casa Hice.

  5. This is the first time I have come to your site because of BlueRidgeBoomer's site...I love to pray for the requests of my brothers and sisters in the Lord. The Lord graciously took care of me when I had pneumonia years ago and He gently brought me my salvation not long after that illness. Praise Him...

  8. Hello ~ Yes, of course, I will pray for your mother to receive her healing. Let's ask for it and then expect that it is going to happen - she'll get better and better, in the name of Jesus.

I feel exactly the same about my mom as you do about yours - my best friend...and a girl needs and wants her mom (age 54 or whatever).
