~A Beautiful Sunrise!~

What a pretty sunrise this morning! Did you see it? I am up at 5:00am each day to make breakfast for my wonderful husband and see him off to work. I usually spend the next two hours doing homework. It's so quiet here always, but the early morning is particularly peaceful as the cows, horses, and that silly old mule haven't awakened...well, at least their tummy's aren't growling yet. Most of my 4 neighbors are gone to work by six o'clock, and I go out to have coffee on the deck, plan my day and let the dog run around. I am so blessed to be able to have time like this, and I am very grateful, never taking it for granted. In my daily readings I came across this Quiet Corners reading by William Arthur Ward,
"Practice the art of aloneness and you will discover
the treasure of tranquility. Develop the art of
solitude and you will unearth the gift of serenity."
(Soul Retreats for Women)
Have a Beautiful Weekend!!
Blessings~

  2. G'morning Sharon! I have always been a believer of time spent alone is time learning about who you are and being at peace with you. I love my alone time as much as I do time spent with others. I talk to God, talk to myself and am able to take on the day with a clear mind. Love your post. Hugs. Tammy

  3. I did see it. Each week day morning I'm here at work and my desk sits so I can see right out the window and watch it every morning. One of the perks of my job for sure. At home I don't have a window facing east so I'll need to go outside to see it and I will without a doubt...I foresee many beautiful mornings sitting on the patio or my camper deck watching the sun rise!

  4. no :( it was cloudy this morning, but it looks gorgeous in your neck of the woods!

what a nice routine you have, Sharon, I like getting the housework done first thing in the morning and out of the way and then you can have fun "playing" the rest of the day :)

(thanks for trying to get a hawk picture for me, sorry the hawk enjoys the taste of sparrows though)

  7. G'morn, Sharon. The most peaceful time of day for me is the morning when I can enjoy the quiet of life & treasure the beginning of a new day with our Lord ... I know first hand never to take anything more than 'this moment' in life.

    Lovely write.

  13. Dear Sharon ~~ Your sunrise is gorgeous and the whole post was so
peaceful. I am afraid I don't get up early anymore unless I have to
go out. I often sleep until 9 am
ad then am behind all day.
Thanks for your comment on the post my brother put on to explain my absence. I didn't want anyone to worry and I sure was not happy with no internet for a week. All fixed now
Take care, dear friend, Love, Merle.
