~Hugs To You Coffee Genius~!

I understand that you might think this is a LITTLE boring, (a lot materialistic) but I am just a simple girl, and I love my new coffee pot! I call it "The Unit." It slices, It dices (not really)....remember that old commercial?? There I go again.....

Back to the unit...(I am not a coffee addict...I am not a coffee addict)

Okay, I am a coffee addict. I love coffee, I love to smell it grinding and brewing, it evokes memories of walking into Dunkin' Doughnuts (another era). Ahhhhh the aroma--coffee, doughnuts, coffee, doughnuts...doughnuts...doughnuts....you get the picture.

This "made for me" coffee pot grinds the beans, steams the coffee perfectly, adjusts the strength and body of the finished product....AND it does it all as I am laying in my warm cozy bed!! Oh the genius that thought of this! I could hug her/him!!!
It doesn't take much to make me smile!!

And I can't remember the last time I had a doughnut!

And I can't remember the last time I was in a Dunkin' Doughnuts!

And I'm just a simple gal.

Blessings~

  1. Alright gal, DD is my all time favorite place to go for coffee & a blueberry muffin, hands down. I grew up around them and in Boston & the cities in Maine I lived in, DD still rules the day. Thank goodness. If memory serves me, we still hang a DD banner on the RedSox's half walls. I used to love talking my .99 thermos in for a fill up. It would last me the day. I always left with two blueberry muffins in hand a smile on my face. Oh, and coffee... if drinks were God's this would be right up there.

It's the little things that matter most. Always has been this way and always will be this way my friend. If I did not have my coffee, I would go hunt one down.!!

    Hugs
Tammy... who buy a timer one because we often hit the snooze or turn off the alarm and go back to bed realizing our zealous moments won't work unless we are well rested.

  2. I totally get Sharon. I'm a coffee junkie too... lol!

I'm thinking about getting a new "unit", so thanks for posting this. At the moment, I'm debating whether I should get something like what you have here, or one that makes espresso/lattes too. Decisions, decisions!

  3. From one coffee addict to another, that is an awesome coffee maker! We have very few DD's in Texas but I fell in love with their coffee last year when we went to Boston. Enjoy your new toy!

  4. You love and enjoy your coffee. So why would your [cute] post be considered boring or materialistic? Not! Not! Not!

After all, no form of Simplicity calls for people to give up what makes their lives 'sing.' All Simplicity calls for is for us to know what makes our life 'sing.' Keep it in our life. Eliminate a lot of the stuff, which doesn't make our life 'sing.' [At least, that's how I view it] :-)

Please, I have a Blogging Question posted today. Would you be so kind as to pop over, via the above click-able link, and give your view?

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  11. This is so funny! I cannot remember the last time I had a doughnut either...I think I was given a piece of one at church after the service one Sunday some time back. As for being inside one...nope. No memory of that. Been WAY too many years.

LOL Of course I am a coffee addict! It's one of my few vices..ok..except for shopping! I do a lot of both.

Thanks for your visit. It made me smile!
