We Made It!

Just a quick note to let you know that we made it through the ice storm without losing power!! Yeah! It was surreal not being able to see out of the windows...creepy really...Here's a picture to show you how it was here for 2 days...Now this looks like frosted glass-it is not! It's clear glass with about an inch of ice on it!

I've been busy busy getting my giveaway done for One World One Heart which begins tomorrow. So you'll have to stop by and see what I made especially for this wonderful blogging event. If you would like to participate please click on the link at the top of my sidebar.

Blessings~

  1. Happy to hear you made it through that storm safe and sound. I've ice glaze my car windows before but never an inch of it and never have my house windows looked like that.

  4. Hi Sharon...thank you so much for the lovely comment on my blog..I really appreciate it. I was over at your blog today for the OWOH celebration and I was so impressed by all your beautiful quilting...You are a master at it. I have quilted a but over the years but spend most of my time in Digital Art and Mixed Media Art but sewing and quilting always lurk in my mind. I wanted to read more but your blog print is so light in color I cannot make out the words but I love what I see and will be returning to see more of your gorgeous work. I have joined your followers list and sincerely invite you to join me on my followers list as well. It would be nice to get to know you. Kind regards. Hugs, Gayle (in Canada)
