Good Morning Friends! Wow! We are having quite a wind storm! Even my dog doesn't want to be out in it! (smart girl) I want to wish you a Joyful Thanksgiving, chock full of family, love, and laughter....and Thankfulness. I so very thankful for my wonderful family, my soulmate and partner Mikey, and for all of the richness that my life has held. When I think back on my friends and family, many of whom are gone now, I thank God that He brought them into my life, that He allowed for me to love them deeply and enjoy them. I am thankful for our men and women overseas risking life and limb for us. I pray that their families will be able to attend Thanksgiving festivities without too much heart wrenching yearning and sadness for their missing loved ones. I am thankful that the Lord has made me who I am, warts and all, and that He is removing the warts one by one...year by year. I am loved~I am thankful.
Blessings~
Oh yes, I almost forgot...new quilt finished~pink of course! Love to you all~Sharon
Hello my dear friend. It is so good to see you back on the keyboard!! Lovely quilt as always and i'm loving the pinks. Isn't thanksgiving magical? It is too me as it sets me right no matter what the months leading up to it were. It starts the promise of a new year. Thanksgiving, Christmas and then New Years. I hope your holiday is filled with fun, food & a good mattress. :) Tammy
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice Thanksgiving message you have today. It is truly a time to count our blessings and give thanks for all we have and for all we are too. It's a chilly day here and so far there is 1 load of laundry down and a few more to go and I am baking Pumpkin Cornbread Muffins for our Thanksgiving Feast. I hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving day!
ReplyDeleteDon't blow away Sharon!! I hope you and your husband have a great Thanksgiving!! So many things to be thankful for indeed!

Dear Sharon ~~ Happy Thanksgiving and we sure do have lots to be thankful for. Your quilts are beautiful my friend. Thanks for your comments and I was lucky no damage was done to me or the house. I got a shock though and now keep the Fire Blanket handy.
ReplyDeleteYour experience was worse than mine-if there had been someone below or a fire started. I got a letter today from the Specialist saying there was very little change in my aneurysm and to get another CT scan in 12 months, so I am so pleased about that. Your
prayers for good results must have worked and I thank you. Love, Merle.
Such a beautiful quilt!!! Happy Thanksgiving dear one
